BMC Race Air Filter – increased airflow for performance
In addition to the standard version of air filters, BMC has also developed the Race variant, designed for modified motorcycles and performance-oriented use.
The BMC Race air filter retains the shape and dimensions of the standard BMC filter, but uses a special filter material designed to allow a higher airflow compared to other filtration systems, while maintaining the necessary filtration capacity.
Designed for modified motorcyclesThe BMC Race version is intended for riders seeking higher performance than the standard motorcycle configuration offers. It is especially recommended for engines that have undergone performance modifications, including changes to the intake system, exhaust, or engine control unit (ECU).
The additional airflow provided by the Race filter can be fully utilized together with proper engine and electronic management system tuning, as part of a set of modifications aimed at increasing performance.
BMC Race filter features- Increased airflow compared to the standard version
- Filter material specially developed for performance-oriented use
- Maintains the required air filtration efficiency
- Shape and dimensions similar to the corresponding standard BMC filter
- Especially intended for motorcycles with performance modifications
- Suitable for ECU remapped or modified configurations
- Can be identified by the characteristic band
BMC Race vs. BMC StandardThe main difference between BMC Race and BMC Standard is the filter material and airflow capacity. The Race version is designed for higher airflow and is especially intended for modified engines, while the standard version is the right choice for regular use and motorcycles with standard configuration.
The BMC Race filter can be easily recognized by the yellow band and represents the BMC variant aimed at motorcycles prepared for performance.
Note: for optimal results, intake system modifications should be matched with engine configuration and, if necessary, ECU adjustments.
