Product Description:
SW-MOTECH manufactures these extensions from high-strength milled aluminum alloy; they have a black anodized surface and a stainless steel step plate. For optimal ergonomic adjustment, the brake pedal step height can be set in two sizes: 22 or 27 mm.
The brake pedal extension is ideal for off-road use: it improves the original brake arm tread and ensures safe and controlled use of the brake. The extension makes it possible for the contact surface to be both wider and higher. This means the brake pedal extension provides better safety and improved control over the rear brake.
When riding off-road, you often alternate between sitting and standing positions. When standing, the knee angle changes, so your foot cannot press the smaller pedal as much. Thanks to the raised contact surface, your foot is angled more sharply, allowing you to reach and control the brake arm more easily, even when standing. There are two height settings.
In addition to the raised surface, the brake pedal extension has an enlarged contact area. It is equipped with a serrated surface, providing improved grip when the arm surface is dirty or wet.
