To determine what type of ignition system is on your vehicle, direct current or alternating current, you can use the following method:
- disconnect the battery;
- turn on the ignition;
- start the scooter using the kickstarter.
If the vehicle starts, an alternating current (AC) CDI is installed; if not, then a direct current (DC) CDI is installed.
