- the polymer-plastic cage with greater elasticity reduces inherent friction: the bearings run more smoothly;
- however, such bearings are more sensitive to improperly tuned engines;
- the polyamide cage should not be exposed to temperatures above 120°C for extended periods;
- for this reason, the bearings should not be installed on engines with catalytic converters;
- FKM is the abbreviation for fluoroelastomers according to the American ASTM standard.
