Technical Specifications:
- typical axles use inner CV joints that must operate at an angle and allow suspension movement;
- this dual-purpose design limits the articulation angle to approximately 25°, while the travel is limited to 1.25" - 1.5", which is inadequate for ATVs and UTVs with lift kits or long-travel suspension;
- if your ATV or UTV has a lift kit or extended A-arms and requires long-travel suspension, you need Moose Heavy Duty axles with Voodoo Axle technology;
- these axles use fixed Rzeppa inner CV joints that allow for 45° articulation, while a sliding spline in the axle shaft ensures a travel of 2";
- this helps prevent the inner CV joint from disconnecting from the transmission when the suspension is at maximum droop;
