Variator Locking Tool 101 Octane.
- This is a special tool for locking the variator;
- It locks the variator on Kymco engines during assembly and disassembly;
- The tool is placed over the teeth of the Kickstarter support and secured in the two elongated holes with a screw;
- The variator nut can then be easily tightened or loosened;
- The necessary screws are not included and must be ordered separately;
- This tool is best suited for working on the drive system as a piston stop;
- This eliminates the risk of damaging the piston.
