Unlike many original metal reeds, this muzicuță uses reinforced plastic membranes. Metal reed blades, in case of breakage, could cause serious damage to the engine and are less stable in shape. In contrast, plastic reed blades are ground and expelled through the exhaust channel in the event of a failure.
