The lifespan of a spark plug depends on the type of fuel, engine condition, operating hours, and engine temperature. For 4-stroke engines of 250 cc or more, the spark plug should be cleaned or replaced after 6000 km. For smaller capacities, especially in 2-stroke, approximately every 2500 km. After this mileage, carbon deposits lead to starting difficulties and power losses caused by the spark plug.
