The BMC air filter is a high-performance replacement filter, developed based on BMC's experience in competitions and on race tracks. The technology used in motorsport is directly transferred to filters designed for production motorcycles, to offer a high-performance, reliable product that is constantly evolving.
Compared to conventional paper air filters, the BMC sport air filter allows a higher airflow and reduces intake air pressure loss, thus contributing to efficient operation and optimizing engine performance.
Quality construction and materials
The filter is made with a one-piece rubber frame, designed to reduce the risk of cracking or breaking and to ensure proper fitment.
The filter element is made from a special four-layer cotton fabric, impregnated with a low-adhesion oil. The filtering material is protected by an aluminum mesh treated with an epoxy solution, for high resistance to oxidation and gasoline vapors.
Advantages of the BMC air filter
- High airflow compared to conventional paper filters
- 4 layers of cotton for efficient filtration
- Washable and reusable – can be cleaned and used again
- Large filtration surface
- High capacity for retaining and filtering impurities
- Reduced intake air pressure loss
- One-piece rubber frame
- Epoxy-treated aluminum mesh, resistant to oxidation and gasoline vapors
- Tested according to international testing procedures
Washable and reusable filter
Unlike a conventional paper air filter, which must be replaced periodically, the BMC filter can be washed, reconditioned, and reused. Periodic cleaning and oiling, performed with dedicated products for cotton filter maintenance, allow the filter to be used for an extended period.
Performance and efficiency for your motorcycle
The construction features of the BMC filter allow for an optimal airflow to the engine, while maintaining efficient filtration of impurities. The increased airflow and reduced pressure loss can help improve engine response and make efficient use of the intake system.
BMC air filters are a high-performance, washable, and reusable alternative to standard paper air filters.
Note: filter compatibility must be checked according to the make, model, year, and version of the motorcycle.
