Note:
MOTOREX CHAINWAX is a water-based chain wax and is not compatible with conventional oil-based chain lubricants. Before first use, the entire transmission system (including the cassette, chainring, and derailleur pulleys) must be thoroughly cleaned and degreased! After riding in the rain, the chain should be wiped with a cloth to prevent surface rust.
MOTOREX CHAINWAX is sensitive to freezing and should not be stored below 5° Celsius. Also, ensure that the chain wax is applied only at temperatures above +5°C and make sure that the bike or the chain itself is not colder. This is the only way to ensure that the wax is evenly distributed, penetrates optimally, and the water content can then evaporate. Once cured, MOTOREX CHAINWAX naturally provides maximum performance - even in freezing conditions.

Dosing:
Apply a thin layer of MOTOREX chain wax along the entire length of the chain, both inside and outside, and let it act for a few minutes. If available, a chain locking device can be useful to guide you from start to finish. The transmission unit should not be used for a few hours, so that the lubricant can take effect and dry as well as possible. For best results, let the chain wax act overnight.
