- the cable has an internal sliding PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) sleeve;
- the high self-lubricating properties of the PTFE material allow for a durable, very smooth sliding process.
Note: Never lubricate PTFE cables afterwards, as lubricants cause the sliding material to swell and thus have exactly the opposite effect.
