The side grooves on the shoulder knobs provide additional edges and allow the knobs to be more flexible. The high-wear-resistant tire compound increases resistance to chipping, tearing, and wear. The shape and distribution of the rear tread block plus the DIRtuitive Grip Design (DGD) buttons help the tire penetrate through surface dirt for additional traction; the central rear blocks are arranged in a line to provide a larger contact area for maximum traction; the rear tire casing has 2 layers of nylon. 'M' - for speeds up to 130 km/h (81 mph).
