Tire (rubber) Metzeler Roadtec Z8 Interact (M) 160/60 ZR17 69W TL - Metzeler

Anvelope (tire) Metzeler Roadtec Z8 Interact (M) 160/60 ZR17 69W TL.

Everything related to the new Roadtec Z8 Interact has been designed to provide the rider with control. It reacts like an extension of the motorcyclist's instincts, creating a refreshing blend of precise feel while riding and effortless maneuverability. The new high-silica compound and nanoparticles enhance performance and safety in all weather conditions. The completely new profile, combined with the new patented tread design, offers easy handling and reduced steering effort for maximum confidence in all maneuvers. The final contact patch area is 8% wider compared to its predecessor, due to variations in steel belt tensions and a strategically placed tread pattern that optimizes pressures in the contact area. The Roadtec Z8 Interact achieves the best mileage in its segment and optimal wet performance throughout the tire's lifespan, thanks to an innovative tread pattern, a wider and more elliptical contact patch, and a range of wear-resistant technologies not typically found in motorcycle tires. The new patented tread design from Metzeler reduces the dry-to-wet ratio of the front tire to 11% and the dry-to-wet ratio of the rear tire to 13%. Strategically placed longitudinal central grooves provide ideal drainage for more than 3/4 of all lean angles in wet conditions. The remaining grooves of the tread contribute to its flexibility, extending the contact patch for stability in dry terrain conditions. The updated design of the Roadtec Z8 improves wear regularity, giving motorcyclists the advantage of consistent performance throughout the entire lifespan of the tire. "W" - for speeds up to 270+ km/h (168+ mph).
