- When working on a racing engine, it is sometimes necessary to adjust the cylinder height to set the squish clearance, achieve the correct compression in the combustion chamber, or optimize valve timing;
- Athena technicians have developed the Race gasket set, an engine gasket kit that covers all the most popular Motocross and Enduro applications on the market, both 2-stroke and 4-stroke;
- The set includes a cylinder head gasket and two cylinder base gaskets, one with the same thickness as the OEM component, and the other with a thickness reduced by 0.1 mm;
- Athena has studied each OEM engine application to create gaskets that carefully meet the strict parameters imposed by manufacturers;
- Athena gaskets have low moisture absorption, maximum mechanical strength, resistance to oils and gasoline, resistance to high temperatures and pressures, and are easy to install and remove.
