Specifications: Due to different measuring and manufacturing processes of trapezoidal belt manufacturers, different length specifications may appear from one manufacturer to another. However, these differences do not affect the functionality of the belts. Due to various industrial standards, different parameters are used to determine length specifications. A distinction is made between external length (shortened, Le), internal length (shortened, Li), and pitch length. The pitch length describes the measurement of length at approximately 3/4 of the height of the belt according to DIN 2215. Additionally, for reliable length measurement, the tension of the belt specified by the vehicle manufacturer must also be considered, as this is also an important factor in the manufacturing process. Due to these different measuring methods, different trapezoidal belt sizes may occur from different manufacturers on the same vehicle. Please refer exclusively to our vehicle distribution. Dayco Power Plus belts are characterized by a core made of aramid fibers, which gives the belt optimal temperature resistance and therefore allows for less elongation, especially at startup, as well as twice the wear resistance compared to those made of polyester. Wear resistance compared to polyester products (standard line). The locking on the back of the belt also ensures maximum flexibility, a larger surface area, and better cooling of the belt during use.
