Specifications: Due to the different measuring and manufacturing processes of trapezoidal belt manufacturers, different length specifications may arise from one manufacturer to another. However, these differences do not affect the functionality of the belts. Due to various industrial standards, different parameters are used to determine length specifications. A distinction is made between outer length (shortened, Le), inner length (shortened, Li), and pitch length. The pitch length describes the measurement of length at approximately 3/4 of the height of the belt according to DIN 2215. Additionally, for reliable length measurement, the tension of the belt specified by the vehicle manufacturer must also be considered, as this is also an important factor in the manufacturing process. Dayco Power Plus belts are characterized by a core made of aramid fibers, which provides the belt with optimal temperature resistance and therefore allows for less elongation, especially at startup, as well as twice the wear resistance compared to those made of polyester.
