Specifications: Due to the different measuring and production methods of trapezoidal belt manufacturers, different length specifications may arise from one manufacturer to another. However, these differences do not affect the functionality of the belts. Due to various industrial standards, different parameters are used to determine length specifications. A distinction is made between external length (shortened, Le), internal length (shortened, Li), and pitch length. The pitch length describes the measurement of length at approximately 3/4 of the height of the belt according to DIN 2215. Additionally, for reliable length measurement, the tension of the belt specified by the vehicle manufacturer must also be considered, as this is also an important factor in the production process.
